Dads influence their child’s development in many ways and it is valuable for him to explore the different aspects of development – cognitive, emotional, and physical development. By paying close attention, a dad can give better guidance, keep a child healthier, and offer opportunities to his child that are in line with the child’s preferences, strengths, and abilities.

The Unique Role of a Super Dad.

This session is designed to give dads a chance to reflect on the unique value of their roles. By helping fathers become intentional in their fathering, men often gain new understanding of the importance of their influence in a child’s life.

Movement and music is foundational for our children as they develop fine motor, gross motor, coordination, and spatial awareness skills. Singing along to the music supports early literacy, speech and language, and good communication skills.

This free event is for Dads, Grandpas, Uncles, or other Male Caregivers and children aged 5 – 9. The evening includes supper, activities and a movie.

Through interactive rhyme, parents and children learn songs, finger plays, simple movement games and stories to build important pathways in the brain. This program is a great way to strengthen the parent/child bond. Pre-registration is required.

Touch is the sense that is most developed at birth and is our very first form of communication. Infant Massage can aid in digestion, sleep, teething and more. Through full body massage and special routines, parents will gain the knowledge to communicate love, comfort, care, and support for their baby through the power of touch.

For Dads (or other male caregivers) and children aged 5 – 9 years old. Registration is required.
