Please register parents for the workshop and children for the childcare. This workshop will look at stress from a child's view, discuss how it affects them and how to recognize and cope with it.

Are your children full of energy? Bring them to this program where they will have lots of time to practice moving their bodies through gross motor games and activities. For children 0 - 6 and their parent/caregiver.

A group for Moms experiencing postpartum depression. Childcare available.

A group for grandparents who are the primary caregiver of their grandchildren.

This program provides information and support for a healthy pregnancy, Following the Public Health Agency of Canada's program guide, mothers receive prenatal education, help with nutrition and links to community services and supports as needed, Participants can stay with the program until their child is one year of age. Lunch is provided during this program. Registration is required.

Parents and children work together to prepare a “take and bake” meal. We provide the ingredients, you do the work!  Together families can make healthy meal choices and children love to eat what they prepare.

Touch is the sense that is most developed at birth and is our very first form of communication. Infant Massage can aid in digestion, sleep, teething and more. Through full body massage and special routines, parents will gain the knowledge to communicate love, comfort, care, and support for their baby through the power of touch.

It is natural for children to want more independence as they become teenagers.  The path to being a mature, young adult begins with parents promoting some very important skills along the way.  Using positive strategies to help develop the life skills your child will need will also help make the teenage years more enjoyable for everyone!

An innovative family education model for children 7-12 years old to promote and support healthy lifestyles. The program involves a series of age-based group learning sessions that focus on healthy eating, physical activity, community engagement and offers children easy to use tools to support healthy lifestyle choices. On March 14th the children will arrive at 4 pm for class and parents will join them from 5:30 - 7 pm to celebrate.

The program engages parents in building assets in children which protect them from risky behaviours and promote healthy choices. The end result is more stable family structures and stronger connections to the community at large. Registration required.

A program designed to help parents and caregivers become aware of their children's needs and learn to understand and interpret behaviour issues and respond appropriately. As observational skills increase so does the confidence parents and caregivers have in responding to their child's needs and in helping their children build a strong emotional foundation by teaching them to manage their emotions. A 4-week program for new (or soon to be new) parents experiencing the transition to parenthood. In a relaxed and supportive environment, parents will learn to strengthen their relationship and foster baby's development during this challlenging time.

For Dads (or other male caregivers) and children aged 5 - 9 years old. Registration is required.

A seminar for parents parenting a child with a disability. It can be rewarding and enlightening. It can also be extremely demanding. Learn how to use positive strategies to support your child's development, learning, and behaviour in a way that best suits their needs.

A fun, interactive opportunity to encourage healthy habits around food and nutrition for children 4&5 years old. Parents are encouraged to include children in mealtime preparation, follow simple recipes, experiment with different flavours and play around with food. Parents are required to attend. A chance for children 3 - 5 years old to explore, experiment, exercise imagination and experience creativity. In these sessions, everyone is an artist. Parents are required to attend. Pre-registration is required.
