ADHD Workshop: The Impact of Nutrition and Exercise on ADHD

September 20, 2025 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Learn about the impact of nutrition and exercise on ADHD.

In partnership with ADHD Association of Greater Edmonton.

Are you curious about the impact of Nutrition and Exercise on ADHD?

Whether you are an athlete in organized sport, play recreationally or dabble in exercise for fun, this workshop is for you.

Join to learn more about how nutrition plays a part in managing symptoms and supporting athletic performance. We will discuss how athletes with ADHD may sometimes confuse signs of low blood sugar and hunger for their symptoms.

For parents/caregivers and their children aged 13 – 17 years.

Participants should bring their own bagged lunch (no microwave available) to learn strategies for healthier eating habits, choices and mindfulness around food and its impact on ADHD. There will be a physical component to the workshop as well, so please dress comfortably.

Speaker: Karl McPhee, a pediatric/radiology nurse, certified personal trainer, and experienced youth mentor with a passion for helping young people thrive physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally. He holds a Precision Nutrition Level 2 Certification and is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) through the Co-Active Training Institute, blending his expertise in health, nutrition, and life coaching to support youth in building sustainable, healthy habits.
