When we listen carefully, clarify what our children have said, and seek to understand before we make a judgment, our children learn to trust us – that we have their best interest at heart.
Dads influence their child’s development in many ways and it is valuable for him to explore the different aspects of development – cognitive, emotional, and physical development. By paying close attention, a dad can give better guidance, keep a child healthier, and offer opportunities to his child that are in line with the child’s preferences, strengths, and abilities.
The Unique Role of a Super Dad.
This session is designed to give dads a chance to reflect on the unique value of their roles. By helping fathers become intentional in their fathering, men often gain new understanding of the importance of their influence in a child’s life.
Movement and music is foundational for our children as they develop fine motor, gross motor, coordination, and spatial awareness skills. Singing along to the music supports early literacy, speech and language, and good communication skills.
