Grief can be an overwhelming experience for children, and it is crucial to provide them with the necessary support.
Facilitated by Harmony Nimchuk, Registered Provisional Psychologist, the support group will help children manage their grief through emotion mapping while teach them useful ways to cope.
This group is for children 8 – 10 years of age.
This group is made possible through funding received from The Children’s Grief Foundation of Canada.

 

Each week the group will look at how to make healthy lifestyle choices in a fun and engaging environment. Youth will participate in a physical activity and a cooking activity meant to support lifelong health.

For youth in grades 4 – 7.

This program is funded by Parkland County.

Registration is required. 

Connect is a 10 week program to support parents of pre-teens and teens with difficult behavioral and emotional struggles. Each session provides parents with a new perspective on parent-teen relationships and adolescent development.

Pre-registration is required.
